Slots Strategy - Winning at Slot Machine Games
Though we all hate to admit it, the simple fact is that no slots strategy will make you a long term winner at the slot machines. Furthermore, most of us play slots for one of two reasons, or both. We want to enjoy the entertainment value that slots offer us and/or we hope to hit a lucky streak to pay for our trip or even a big progressive jackpot that can change our lives.
I have put together a short slots strategy guide to help you prolong your entertainment along with some simple common sense tips.
Make sure you completely understand the pay table as well as the requirements to be eligible for the jackpot or any bonus rounds before playing any slot machine.
Join the slots club wherever you play slots. It doesn't cost anything to join them and depending on your level of play you may get free rooms, discounted rooms, free meals or even cash back.
I am sure you have read this one about a thousand times, but it is so important it bears repeating. Don't play with money you can't afford to lose.
Do not play when you are tired and take frequent breaks while you are playing. We tend to make mistakes when we are tired and by taking breaks we can play longer with less money.
One method of slots strategy I have read about involves dividing your bankroll into different parts for different times during your slot playing trip, vacation or allotted playing time. For example, if you are on a three day slots trip, divide your bankroll into three equal parts. Some players even divide it further into a morning and evening session for each day. If you have a good session, congratulations. Pocket the winnings or add them to a later playing session, but if you exhaust your session bankroll, go enjoy something else until your next session.
If your goal is to play as long as possible on a set bankroll, find a machine that doesn't punish you for playing less than maximum coins and play one coin at a time. Yep, you read that right. Even though the advice I see plastered everywhere is only play maximum coins, that is not the way to play as long as you possibly can.
In contrast to the last strategy tip, if you are playing on a progressive slot machine, you will be required to play maximum coins to be eligible for the jackpot. If you don't want to play maximum coins, don't play on a progressive machine. The payback percentage will almost always be better on non progressive machines for less than maximum coin play.
Good luck at the slots, and one final strategy before you go. Don't forget to have fun. Slots are exciting and offer a great entertainment value if we follow a few simple guidelines.
